Someone who charges a lower hourly rate may not be the most economical to use.
Not all technicians work at the same speed. Nor do they have the same training or product knowledge.
If company A charges $50.00 per. hour and company B charges $45.00 per. hour. You would think that company B would be the better deal.
Suppose company A took one hour to repair a unit and company B took one and a half hours to repair the same unit.
Company A would charge $50.00 and company B would charge $67.50.
Even though the hourly rate is lower you have actually paid more.
You must factor in experience, training, and product knowledge into the equation.
Warranty service is easy, just send the unit to us with proof of purchase from an authorized dealer and we do the rest.
Our shop service rate is $35.00 per. 1/2 hour.
Minimum 1/2 hour.
Emergency service is available as a one time $35.00 charge per. repair.
Estimates require a 1/2 hour's time and a $35.00 charge is made for all estimates, this charge is credited toward the repair if the estimate is approved.

Hammond Scanner Rebuilding
Vibrato Scanner
When the older Hammond organs were built all the metal surfaces were plated to reduce rust and corrosion. Over the years this plating developed a growth that is conductive. When this growth builds up enough it shorts out the scanner. This causes choppy sounding vibrato or low volume or both. To correct this problem the scanner must be completely disassembled and cleaned, the metal must then be treated to stop the growth from reappearing and then reassembled.
Scanner rebuilds are warranted for one year
Steps required to rebuild a scanner...
1) Complete disassembly to component level
2) Thorough cleaning to remove oil, metallic growth,
and any foreign materials from the frame, insulators,
and wiring.
3) Replacement of any insulators if needed.
4) Coating the scanner frame with clear insulation.
5) Inspection and reassemble.
6) Final testing.
Replacement of oil wicks is available at extra cost.

LESLIE AMPLIFIER
Leslie Amplifier Rebuilding
Since tube technology has not been used anywhere but the music industry for over 20 years it is becoming a dying art. Not many technicians are comfortable with servicing them. Because of this we offer a rebuilding service for the Leslie amplifiers.
Leslie amplifier rebuilds are warranted for 90 days parts and labor.
Note: Tubes are not covered unless they were replaced at the time of repair.
Steps required to rebuild a leslie amplifier...
1) All coupling and bypass capacitors replaced.
2) Filter capacitor replaced.
3) Resistors tested for accuracy. (replaced if needed)
4) Volume control cleaned and tested.
5) Motor control relay replaced.
6) Input connector replaced if needed.
7) Recalibration and testing.
Replacement of Transformers, Chokes, and Tubes is available at an additional charge.
We recommend replacing the amplifier tubes at the time of rebuilding to insure maximum performance.

Hammond Amplifier Repair
We can repair the amplifiers and pre-amplifiers used in the older tube type systems. Ship the unit to us with the known problems and we can estimate the repair costs.
When packing electronic equipment remember it is always better to overprotect than to underprotect. Provide ample padding, at least three inches, all around the unit. Remove the tubes and individually pack and pad them in the same box. Always insure for more than the equipment is worth. Make sure the box is marked fragile.
